-“Th e A-side of this album actually came about as an experiment. I was trying out a recently released fi rmware update to the Buchla 200e in which you can change presets using voltage control. In order to test this I wanted to fill most of the 32 available preset locations with suitable sounds and this is what appeared in about two hours time. Some sounds are just variations on a theme, some are happy accidents and one or two are actually quite planned. Th e feature I wanted to test is not audible in this piece, however, since instead I recorded all patches one by one and mixed aft erwards. The B-side features a couple of di erent tunes and one of my fondest childhood memories -Sjörapporten from Swedish radio P1.” -NIKLAS
