With a name inspired by Ash Ra Temple’s greatest masterpiece you know that FMD knows their space rock history. Inspired by bands and artists such as Bobby Hutcherson, Angelic Upstarts, Skip James, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Blue Öyster Cult and Oscar Sulley & The Uhuru Dance Band they have proven themselves both on records and on live shows. Their gig at swedish festival Psykjunta in 2013 are already a classic among freakoutheads. Their music has been described as Doom Jazz and Oriental Hard Rock. Höga Nord prefers to simply call it good music. Stomp out the jams to A-side Nusrat and kick back to B-side Montana. Or vice versa. There surely is a riot going on.
